Angela L. Engstrom, Attorney at Law

I grew up in a middle-class home in Tucson, Arizona where I was the oldest of 3 kids and the only daughter of a police officer and a teacher. I rode horses, did gymnastics, swam butterfly and freestyle, played tennis, and eventually landed on volleyball. I played 3 years of varsity volleyball in high school and played club ball year-round, later becoming a coach and referee to help pay my way through college. I also waited tables at Applebees, Mama Louisa’s, and The Black Swan. I went to the University of Arizona (Go Wildcats) on a full academic scholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Psychology and Sociology. I decided to come to Portland to check out the rain and I attended Lewis and Clark Law School. I loved everything about the Pacific NW so I decided to stay. I began working in personal injury while in law school as a clerk and have worked in PI ever since. I was licensed in Oregon in 2003, then in Washington in 2008 where my primary office is, and most recently in Arizona in 2024, as I fly back and forth frequently to visit family and friends. I’m now divorced with 3 active kids and run my own small law firm. I enjoy hanging out with my kids, going to all their activities, hiking, scuba diving, wine tasting, going to comedy shows, and all things nature.
