Short answer, those websites are largely junk. You need to talk to a lawyer and likely retain one to have a better idea of “case value.” 1) Cases don’t have intrinsic value for one thing. “Value” is either what you settle it for or what a jury or judge or arbitrator tells you it’s worth. 2) No 2 cases look exactly alike. Facts of cases are different, insurance companies are different, venue is different, the parties are different, medical bills and diagnoses are different. Lawyers are different. Losses are different. General damages are different. Wages for different jobs are different. Witnesses are different, etc. 3) AI may be able to screen for verdicts or self reported settlement figures, but you don’t know where its data comes from and self reported #s are mere guidance, not binding on any other cases.
Find a lawyer you trust who you believe will do a good job with your case. Read the reviews, get a referral from a friend, do your research, meet with them in person. Stay away from Billboard lawyers. They are usually way overhyped and you’ll probably never be able to get ahold of them or will never know the lawyer assigned to your case. Those firms are usually the puppy mills of the PI world. Who you choose as your lawyer is important, and hold off on trying to value your own case through google. Listen to your lawyer.
